Thou Shalt Kill is a gripping psychological thriller that dives into the complexities of fear, faith, and survival. As the Priest terrorises Shannon with cryptic biblical quotes, she challenges him, using her knowledge of Catholicism to turn his words against him. Her unpredictable blackouts add a layer of mystery to their tense encounters, making her a formidable adversary. As the killer's frustration grows, he resorts to threatening Shannon's young son, Alby, which changes the stakes dramatically.
Directed by Richard Friedman and written by Nathan Illsley, Thou Shalt Kill is a raw and intense exploration of how far someone is willing to go when they have nothing left to lose. Augie Duke delivers a standout performance as Shannon, capturing the desperation and resilience of a woman pushed to her limits. The film also stars Vince Lozano as the chilling Priest, whose religious zealotry makes him a terrifying antagonist.
